 IMPORTANCE OF LISTENING AND PODCAST CREATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LANGUAGE SKILLS 

This day in class we observed some new topics of great importance, among them a video where he tells us about the 4 reasons to learn a new language, from my perspective it is of utmost importance to have each of the factors discussed present in order to have a greater understanding of the topics and to improve our learning capacity focused on the importance it has for life, we also talked about what podcasts are and how valuable they are in education because from the point of view they offer flexibility and accessibility to allow the development of auditory and visual skills, learning in a different way through dynamic and attractive content.

Ultimately we practiced and strengthened our skills a bit through exercises such as the summary we made regarding the podcast put on by the teacher in class.I want to highlight how versatile and convenient podcasts can be to acquire knowledge, allowing both students to listen to educational content learning in a different way wherever and whenever they want, and for teachers to incorporate it into their methods can make learning more attractive and accessible, accommodating different ways of understanding and maintaining the interest of the students. In addition, podcasts encourage self-discipline and independent study, helping students to delve deeper into topics of interest both outside and inside the school environment.

Now I would like to talk a little about the topic that corresponded to me in the podcast: "education for global citizenship: promoting social awareness and activism." We must understand that it helps people better understand the world's problems and know how to act to improve them. It teaches how to respect and differentiate different cultures, to care about justice and human rights, and to work for a more just and sustainable planet. Thanks to education, conscious and active people are formed who can make a positive difference in global society.
